Some of you might not remember Mike but I was best friends with him. He and I would go out and have so much fun, I remember many times at his house with his Mom and Dad. This was in the mid 60's and Mike got mixed up with the wrong people. I was heart broken when I heard the news, and to make things even worse,his father was found dead the same day while his Mom was in Hawaii with some people at the bank she worked with. I will never forget the funeral for both Mike and Mr. Helmin at the same time, it was horrible
I loved Mike. He was funny and a great guy. Too many times I've thought of the terrible waste of losing him to heroin. In my town another young man Mike's age overdosed on heroin.
I am heart broken again remembering Mike. He was so young. Mike I miss you.
To make it worse his dad died a few days before and his Mom was in Hawaii on a Bank trip Mike went home found his dad dead and just OD 'ed on purpose I remember it was a double funneral and they hadim to notify his mom in Hawaii. I know the piece of S___ that got Mike on Heroin hope he met his maker!!! Mike was so smart I always wanted to be as smart as him such a waste

Mike was a good guy and we were friends. So sorry to learn of his death and the circumstances. So young, so good and so full of potential.
I agree with Jay's comments about whoever contributed to his start down that path and that much too early death!
