Back in elementary school Dick and I were next door neighbors. Our family moved to a bigger house when we were in junior high and Dick and I lost track of each other eventually but he was so handsome even as a little kid, but he didn't seem to know it. He was just so sweet and smart. He was really kind and everybody on our block liked him. We all played hide-and seek every night all summer long. There were lots of kids on our long block and he was a friend of every one of us, easy-going and kind. I'm so sorry to find out that he's not with us now but I bet he's having fun in Heaven. He was a good friend and a funny guy with a serious side.

Dick and I shared advanced art classes with Mr. Gadbois at Black.  I was in awe of him and his amazing talent.  He was always promising to give me one of his works " when he finished a good one".  I am sorry he never found one worthy.  Only saw him sporadically later when his life took a downturn, but always wished he had truly appreciated his amazing artistic talent.
