Donna will forever be missed. We originally met at one of the American Legion dances on Judiway. I with my older brothers and she went with her sister. We became friends and had classes together at Oak Forest Elementary. For years, Donna had a crush on my brother. We remained friends but did not share classes in junior high or high school. It was wonderful to see her at reunions and at Fuddruckers. She was always very nice.
I am also so sorry to hear about Donna's passing. I am sorry this is so late coming, but I was not a member then, and I saw Dorothy's post. Donna and I did share classes, and were friends in school. It would have been nice to see her again.
This is such an unwelcome surprise. I remember her from the Imperial Guard. She was an officer, and I played the herald trumpet. I can still see her in her uniform. She was a very dignified and kind person.
I'm only just now seeing this.... very, very sad.
I knew her from Oak Forest and Black and Waltrip, and she ALWAYS was
nice, kind and gracious. I never really called her Donna, usually called her by
her whole name "Hi, Donna McAnally.." (I liked the way it sounded..)
We never hung out together, but I really liked her a lot.
She was one of the classmates I was much looking forward to seeing again...
damn..... very, very sad.
