I thought Pam was one of the nicest, prettiest girls in school. She ALWAYS had a kind word for everybody and was so genuine. I loved observing her relationship with Bobby. It seemed so close. I feel a loss knowing she's no longer a part of this world, but she left fond memories of the sweet person she was during our school days, both at Black and Waltrip.

Ditto to Jennie's comments. Pam was beautiful in every way a person can be and her sweet smile made a lifelong impression on all who knew her.

I was so saddened to see Pam listed as "in memory." We lived in Austin in the late 60s and back in Houston in the early 70s. She and I got together a few times, and after my second son, Greg, was born in January of 1971 and before I moved to Seattle I gave her my maternity clothes as she had just found out she was expecting a baby. We lost touch after I moved, but I always remembered her as a genuinely sweet person. The last time I saw her at a reunion (maybe 95) she was talking about how sweet her daughter was. If she was related to Pam, she had to be! I wish I wouldn't have lost touch with her and feel so sad that she's gone.

I guess we were all shocked by the news - seems like it hit me harder than expected. One of the nicest people and from the nicest families I have ever met. Pam's brother, Mother, and Father provided an example of what a family should be. I've know Pam a very long time and like most, felt it would be forever - maybe it really is - I will miss her and her friendliness and warmth forever.
