Jimmie Lee Klander, 62, of Blooming Grove, passed away May 3, 2009 at the VA Hospital in Dallas. He was born Dec. 18, 1946 in Houston. Jim was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather, whose humor, strength and support will be greatly missed by his family. Jim proudly served Army Infantry in Vietnam 1968-1969.Jim is survived by his mother, Anita Young Klander of Houston; brother Darrell Klander and wife Betty of Goodrich, Texas; sisters Cheryle Hrachovy and husband Rick, and Vicki Logan and husband Willis, both of Houston; sons Kevin Klander and wife Melanie of Blooming Grove, Jason Klander and wife Stacy of Waxahachie; daughter Lisa Simonfalvi and husband Krisz of DeSoto; and three grandchildren, Nancy, Gracie and Nathan.He is preceded in death by father Albert Klander, wife Sharon Conner Klander, and granddaughter Ashley Ann Klander.Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
