Comments:

A month after graduation I went to work for the Houston Belt & Terminal RR and worked there until 1978. Then I owned a Farmers Insurance Insurance Agency for the next 15 years in the Greenspoint area and in 1989 I sold the Agency and went back to the work I loved.... with the Southern Pacific RR. We move to California in 1991 and I worked in San Francisco for a year and relocated to Denver. We lived near a great little mountain town named Bailey, about 40 miles southwest of Denver. In 1996 the Union Pacific RR merged with the SPRR and we relocated to Omaha, Ne...and here we have stayed.

Most of my career was in Management and RR Operations...as a conductor, yardmaster, locomotive power chief and dispatcher. I have seen most of the western US by rail...real fun! The last 5 years before I retired I was an instructor for Remote Control Operations...and taught train crews how to operate trains with remote control.

During this life long adventure I had the good fortune to meet and married my wife Patricia and we have 4 grown children. Now we would like to move south, some place warm and without snow. Maybe back to Texas.
