Barbara Ann Pate Stogner

After graduating from the University of Houston, I worked for the public school system, mainly as an educational diagnostician (processing students for special education placement). Most of my work career was in Clear Creek ISD. I officially retired in 1999, but thereafter I continued to work on a part-time basis. In summer, 2007 my husband (who worked in the oil industry) and I totally quit our professional jobs and moved from League City to the country. We are now located near Stephen F. Austin State Park. Our lives are fairly relaxed, but we keep busy with our farming and household duties, church and community activities, and day excursions. I also like touring and have taken many trips in North and Central America, Europe, and Africa. In addition, I spend much time with needlepoint projects.
