Fellow classmates---

Our former classmate Jacquie Campbell Biggs has been having some extreme health issues lately and needs our prayers and support.. Let's gather together and show the power of prayer.

Absolutely, Jacquie cheered for us on for years and now it's our turn to cheer her on with our prayers and good wishes.

Janne Semeyn Boone and I are leaving tomorrow for 2 weeks to Big Island and Maui, Hawaii. Oh, the times in high school when we dreamed of surfing in Hawaii. With 2 knee replacements I won't be surfing, but we will be doing lots of other water sports and bicycling. Aloha!

May God's Grace, comfort & healing powers cover Jacquie
during this time of illness. I pray for wisdom for the
doctors. May angels of God surround her & her family
during this difficult time. Thank-you God for all your
Almighty powers. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Peggy, I always thought volcanos looked like Mt. St. Helen. Today in Volcano National Park I have never been so awestruck. Janne and I still can't process the mass of lava and its effect on this island. Unbelievable!

A reunion in Hawaii would be great! Does anyone own a party jet or a house or two or three over here? How much fun would that be?

Robert (Robby) Wallis

Don’t take any lava souvenirs. Pele, Goddess of Fire and other things hot, will make your life miserable...ah, hell, go ahead and take some home anyway and see what happens...but I'd have a Fedex box ready to ship the rocks back in case you find yourself in a S*** storm. Don't say I didn't warn you..bad juju

Robby, the lady at the Bed & Breakfast we are staying near Pahoa, said she's had guest that have sent their lava pieces back with news their house burned to the ground, terrible car accidents, and more. You could tell by her face she wasn't making it up either. When I told her what you said, thinking you were joking, she said "No, don't do it!" I don't even want to touch lava with my hands now and there is a lot to touch too! The town of Pahoa is like a step back into the 50's or 60's, not commercialized, just artist and hippies. No sidewalks, mainly friendly people from a past time. I ordered a frozen Margarita and the server came by and asked me if I just would like another half glass, what was left in the blender @ no charge, she just didn't want to waste it. Maybe I'll do my second retirement there as a painter! Hona tomorrow, lava tonight! Peace Brother!

Jennie-

I like the idea of a reunion in Hawaii. There is a program on TVLand called Reunion and it takes place in Hawaii. It looks great so if we could find out what it takes to get on the show that would be great. Granted no reunion has been more than the 20 yr one, however we could set the precedent. Have a great time and be safe. I hope I will be at the July Fudd's so bring some pictures.

Jennie,
We loved Pahoa.....it was the surfer/hippie town close
to the great waves. The lady definitely was NOT kidding
about the lava rock. There is a lot of 'witch-craft'
on the islands.
ENJOY-----ENJOY

Hey everyone........
Wanted to let ya'll know my sweet old Afghan Hound, Echo,
died on Monday. She was in my arms and I was singing,
'How Great is our God', she just went to sleep. No doubt
that she is among the angels and her sissys, Gracie & Tiffany. I am certain they are all romping around in green pastures @ Rainbow Bridge, in the sight of God.

My Afghans, are 'my girls' , so I am sure you all know
what we are going thru.
My Miss Diva is totally in mourning, but starting to come around a little.
ECHO was FOURTEEN.

I used Mrs. Semeyn's 1st grade class picture on my info for the show. There will be refreshments. It is north from the Village, closer to Kirby. I hope anyone interested in art can make it. I would enjoy seeing you.

I was at the monthly Fuddruckers event for the first time. I live in Florida and was here visiting my parents. I had a wonderful time seeing school friends I hadn't seen in years. Everyone looked so good -- we have only gotten better looking. Hope to attend another one of them sooon and hope to be at the reunion. My prayers go out to you all Connie Mahnke

I see in The Wonder Years that some of you were classmates of Larry Hayden at Garden Oaks. I am glad to say he was a friend of mine at Hamilton. He was a nice guy. Sadly, he was killed in the USS Liberty tragedy. See a nice obit of him at http://www.ussliberty.org/hayden.htm http://www.reagan1964.com/ has a photo of him in the 'juniors' section. Also see http://www.ussliberty.org/hayden2.htm He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Hayden&GScnty=2809&GRid=21181&
